KMentors.com will host an online coaching program on Risk Management for the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) starting 18 June 2007. The coaching program, led by veteran facilitators Ramonesa Ricardo and Raul Galvez, is the continuation of the Risk Management training that was conducted for selected BAI employees. The project's goal is to increase BAI's proficiency and expertise to meet rising concerns on critical risks like bird flu and mad cow disease.

The first part of the project involved a 1-week training on risk management and resulted towards a  more coordinated and planned response to critical risks in the country. The training was conducted by foremost experts in the Philippines and Asia: Prof. John Edwards, Dean of School at the Murdoch University in Australia; Richard Norris, Manager of Veterinary Services of the Department of Agriculture of Western Australia; and Leo Araneta, a sought-after expert on enterprise-wide risk management in the country.

The training and coaching program was spearheaded by the CCLF.Philippines and funded from a grant by AusAID, under the management of the Philippine Australia Human Resource Development Facility (PAHRDF). CCLF.Philippines' technical partner Dig It All Solutions Inc developed the coaching site in Moodle.
